AOC Said the Coronavirus Was What?

That non-stop she always has something to say about everything Squad member Alexandria Oscario-Cortez has now chimed in on that scary coronavirus epidemic, and nobody could have guessed this was coming. No, not the virus, that was actually more predictable than what AOC had to say.

As one story covering these shocking revelations reported, the Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district took to a Twitter video feed to give us the hard truth. According to AOC, the coronavirus is… racist. That’s right, and this is precisely how she said it via her video:

Honestly it sounds almost so silly to say but there’s a lot of restaurants that are feeling the pain of racism, where people are literally not patroning Chinese restaurants. They’re not patroning Asian restaurants because of just straight-up racism around the coronavirus.”

Forget her poor grammar if you can (our aforementioned story already dinged her on that point), and remember this is a well-educated, and respected politician who is always educated on the topic she is speaking about. If she said this is a racist virus, then it must be true.

Odd, they didn’t call it the “Chinavirus” isn’t it? For beer aficionados, they must be a bit offended, however, because Corona is a very popular brand. If this is what she says it is, then let’s just call it what it is, the Chinavirus, per Rep. Alexandria Oscario-Cortez.

It is at times like these when people must wonder how the AOC’s of the world get a platform and a mic, as she does as a member of the U.S. government. Love it or hate it though, that is the good thing about free speech because people can say what they want.

Why is that good? Well, if you let a wise and insightful person speak long enough, it doesn’t take long to realize that you are speaking with a wise and intelligent human being. Let a fool talk long enough, it takes even less time to realize who you are talking to.

No, Ms. Alexandria Oscario-Cortez, people aren’t shying away from Asian cuisine because of racism. People are staying home, staying away from crowds, and yes a few may not be eating Chinese food too, but the reason is fear, not racism. It is the medical community advising the country to limit contact and stay away from enclosed areas with groups of people. That means places like restaurants, and not only those serving Asian cuisine.

We have already heard conspiracy theories about the coronavirus, and it may just be a matter of time before she has input on that too. Perhaps this virus was a plan to take out China? We don’t know but we are sure that she is on the case.

With leadership like this and that kind of sharp thinking at the top-tier of the Democratic party, what should we worry about? AOC, as she so eloquently stated in her tweet, is worried about the Chinese food industry, and it seems not as concerned about the virus itself. Doesn’t that may you feel better?

In case you were wondering, you aren’t alone in your disbelief. The story shared the response of Mike Huckabee who said regarding her Twitter video clip:

“This is like an SNL parody. She is like literally like not aware of like literally much of like anything, like not even fact there’s like literally no word “patroning” and she like is literally clueless as to what like racism literally means. And she is in Congress. Literally!”

It is a good thing that she pointed out this fact about the coronavirus too because that will help us find a solution or vaccine, right? Again, we aren’t sure how either, but with great minds like AOC, it is just a matter of time. And the more time she has to talk the more we understand.

Let a wise person talk long enough, or a fool, and it won’t take long to figure out who is who. So AOC says that the coronavirus is racist? Good to know. Keep talking AOC – just keep talking.
