Everyone on the Left warned America how if people voted for Donald Trump, and he would become president, there would be fighter jets in the sky and tanks in the streets of Washington D.C.
Oh my gosh! It is almost like the Apocolypse because the Left just predicted what would happen in our Nations Capitol, and on the Fourth of July of all days! President Trump called for tanks and fighter jets and the rockets red glare with the fireworks bursting in the air!
You had better believe the American Flag was displayed at every corner for all the Patriots to see waving as Ol Glory should! It was a spectacular event as the president gave one of his greatest speeches and put on an awesome show!
Laurence H. Tribe, a Harvard Law professor, tweeted a picture of the tanks rolling in on the city streets of Washington D.C. for President Trump’s “Salute to America”.
He stated, “The resemblance to days before Tiananmen Square is chilling.” This fool compared true and pure Patriotism with something that happened in 1989 in Beijing when countless protesters were killed by military force, including troops and tanks.
The numbers of casualties ranged from several hundred civilians to several thousand. No one was killed in Washington, and no one was protesting, so how in the world does this compare?
The Left was hyperventilating over the president’s address to the crowd who came in celebration of our Nation’s Birthday. They always have something to complain about. Democrats called his celebration “unprecedented.”
It is a shame there is so little appreciation, especially, since for a Democratic Primary they cannot even put up one American Flag. It shows how much of hypocrites they are and not to mention, socialist.
Did they complain when Harry S. Truman, Woodrow Wilson, John F. Kennedy, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush gave their speeches for the Fourth of July? There was also no complaints when President Ronald Regan gave his speech on the deck of the USS John F. Kennedy, which was docked at the Statue of Liberty.
Democrats claimed President Trump was going to turn the Fourth of July into nothing but a political agenda. He did not. He actually set the bar for one of the greatest speeches and performances by the military. Even some of his worst critics were silenced, but then there were still those who cannot help themselves.
He began, “As we gather this evening, in the joy of freedom, we remember that we all share a truly extraordinary heritage. Together, we are part of one of the greatest stories ever told, the story of America.”
From there he told the story of America and some of the greats who revolutionized this country into what it is today. The struggle for Independence is where the president started. His topics ranged from the abolishment of slavery, securing women’s rights. The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was mentioned all the way back to Frederick Douglass. He mentioned Harriet Tubman and Jackie Robinson.
Our great explorers and inventors were mentioned from Lewis and Clark, Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, The Wright Brothers, Amelia Earhart, to the astronauts of Apollo 11. The president even stated, “We will plant the American flag on Mars because, for Americans, nothing is impossible.”
There were “modern-day heroes” in the crowd President Trump called out and acknowledged. Emil Freireich is a doctor who changed for the better the treatments of leukemia in children, and Clarence Henderson who led the sit-in in Greensboro, North Carolina for a Woolworth lunch counter in 1960.
President Trump went individually went down the list of each branch in the United States armed forces and told stories of the heroism shown as each service’s aircraft flew overhead in a dramatic and inspiring way.
The crowd was stunned in amazement as the story the president was telling, and the performance from the military showed how mighty the military really is.
Millions tuned in to watch on television and probably wondered why Democrats were insisting America would see a partisan address.
Instead, what the country got was a unifying speech with one of the best performances yet by any president. It showed all the great accomplishments of our service men and women.
The more the president talked, the greater he looked and sounded. His critics were silenced for a moment.
Well, that is until the next morning when they had to pick apart everything like the cry babies they are.
