$2T Stimulus Deal Approved by Senate, Headed to House
(UnitedVoice.com) – History was made on Wednesday as the Republican-led Senate passed a $2 trillion dollar stimulus deal in an effort to provide Americans and businesses with a much-needed boost to the crippling economy.
Some of the most important provisions in the deal include tax breaks, direct payments, and business loans for those who qualify.
The $2 trillion dollar stimulus package deal is now on its way to The House of Representatives. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and its members will vote to approve or disapprove the deal this Friday.
Pelosi is optimistic about tomorrow’s House vote:
.@SpeakerPelosi: "We will have a victory tomorrow for America's workers. If somebody has a different point of view they can put that in the record. We're not worried about that."
