President Trump to Honor Memory of Americans Lost to COVID-19

(UnitedVoice.com) – President Trump is showing his patriotism and compassion once more. With more than 96,000 American lives lost to COVID-19 as of May 22, the president is planning to honor their memory.

The decision to honor those who have fallen to the deadly virus was announced after a request by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). They asked the president to commemorate the day America reached 100,000 deaths due to the coronavirus.

US flags will fly half-mast over the next three days to honor their memory. On Memorial Day, the US flag will continue to fly half-mast as Americans honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.

We salute you all.
